In our new story we will talk in detail about Kareena Kapoor’s success story and personal life.

Kareena Kapoor was born on 21 September 1980 in Mumbai to actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor. Belonging to the oldest and famous Kapoor family of Hindi cinema, her childhood was spent around film stars. Big film personalities often used to visit the house of her grandfather showman Raj Kapoor. Looking at those people, Kareena also dreamed of becoming a heroine from an early age. She often used to imitate heroines by wearing her mother’s night dress at home.

Kareena Kapoor was just 15 years old when she started liking a boy from her school. As soon as her mother came to know, she kept Kareena’s phone with her. One day when Babita was out for dinner, Kareena broke the lock of her room with the help of a knife and took the phone and went to meet the boy. Mother was so angry with this that she sent Kareena to boarding school.

After Karishma, Babita wanted Kareena to also enter films, but without telling anyone, Kareena herself took admission in Harvard University by filling the form and giving an interview. Kareena Kapoor was so passionate about studies that after returning from Harvard, she took admission in Government Law College, Mumbai. She went to college like other normal children, although the entire family had objections to this. Karisma Kapoor had already appeared in films by that time.

By that time, Kareena’s mother and her father had started living separately, so Babita raised her as a single mother. There were some financial problems also, due to which Kareena did not get luxury. She used to go to college by bus or taxi. However, a year had passed when Kareena got bored of studying law and left it.

Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan was preparing for the film ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ to launch his son Hrithik Roshan. When he came to know that Babita’s daughter Kareena wanted to enter films, he reached her house with the script of his film. In such a situation, Rakesh talked to Babita ji and Babita also immediately agreed.

Before the shooting of the film, Kareena joined Kishore Namit’s acting school. The shooting of the film started at the Convent Villa in Versova. Babita and Karishma also used to accompany Kareena during shooting. The first schedule was of song shooting and only a few scenes could be done on the first day.

The next day, Babita called Rakesh Roshan and said that it would be better if he shoots other scenes of the film before the song, because Kareena is more comfortable in acting than dancing. Rakesh said that he has hired people for the shooting of the song and such a big change cannot happen suddenly, but Babita did not agree. She was adamant that Kareena would not shoot the song first. There was an argument between the two on the call itself and while keeping the call, Babita said that now Kareena will not work in this film.

Rakesh was stunned and tried to convince Babita, but she still did not agree. Later, in place of Kareena, Ameesha Patel debuted with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai.

She made her debut with Abhishek Bachchan in JP Dutta’s film Refugee. The film was average, but for it, Kareena received the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.

Kareena Kapoor may not have debuted with Hrithik in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, but the two worked together in the 2001 film Yaadein. People liked the onscreen chemistry of both and their affair started being discussed in the film circles. Many magazines used to publish news on their relationship, although one of the topics of discussion was that Hrithik was married at that time.

After some time, both of them worked together again in the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, even then the news of their affair increased. Kareena’s character of Pooja alias Poo was much liked in the film. The story of Kareena’s casting in this is very interesting.

Actually, Karan Johar had attended a film party with Manish Malhotra. There his eyes fell on Kareena. Kareena was standing alone and posing in attitude and there was no photographer there. Karan was so impressed after seeing Kareena’s style that he not only cast Kareena in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, but also based the character on her. Even when the shooting of the film was completed, Kareena did not come out of the character of Poo and used to roam around the house in that attitude.

Angered by this, one day Babita called Karan Johar and said, can you tell Kareena that the shooting is over and she does not need to remain the character of Poo.

Well, the film was released and became the biggest grossing film of that year. Despite the presence of Shahrukh and Hrithik in some scenes, Kareena attracted people’s attention. After the film, the rumors of Kareena and Hrithik’s affair increased further.

After the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kareena Kapoor’s back-to-back Mujhse Dosti Karogi, Jeena Sirf Mere Liye, Talaash, Khushi, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon were flops. Meanwhile, she was offered the role of a sex worker in Sudhir Mishra’s film Chameli. Kareena refused to do the film saying that she would not be comfortable in the role of a sex worker.

After some time, when Sudhir Mishra approached again, Kareena agreed to do an experimental role in her career. To prepare for the role, Kareena went to many red light areas of Mumbai and learned how to behave and dress like the women there. This film proved to be a turning point in Kareena’s career and for this she received a Special Jury Award from Filmfare. Only after this, many critically acclaimed films like Yuva, Dev, Fida, Aitraaz came in Kareena’s career.

Before shooting the film Tashan, Kareena suddenly thought of losing weight and got zero figure. For this she did intense workouts and also reduced her diet. It is said that Kareena had become so weak in this process that she used to faint again and again on the sets of Tashan. However, she is the first Bollywood actress to have a zero figure. Despite this achievement, the audience did not like Kareena’s zero figure.

Kareena Kapoor was dating Shahid Kapoor since Jab We Met, but she broke up with Shahid after 2 years. During the shooting of the film Tashan, Kareena became close to Saif Ali Khan and the couple became known by the name Saifina. As soon as the news of the relationship broke, Kareena came into controversy.

There were also reports that Kareena had gone to Saif Ali Khan and Amrita’s wedding, where she congratulated Saif and said, Congratulations uncle. Despite controversies, Kareena married Saif Ali Khan in 2012.

On the day of their marriage, Saif had written a letter to his first wife Amrita Singh advising her to move ahead in life, but she had read that letter to Kareena before sending it to Amrita. Kareena not only allowed him to do this but also treated her two children Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim as friends.

Kareena Kapoor refused to take big roles in films after marrying Saif Ali. She wanted to devote most of her time to her married life. In such a situation, she worked in films like Talaash, Satyagraha, Singham Return, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, in which she did not have a big role. After giving birth to her first son Taimur, Kareena stayed away from films. However, on Saif’s insistence, Kareena made a comeback into acting after 2 years with the film Veere Di Wedding.

When Kareena gave birth to her first son in 2016, she named him Taimur. Just 8 hours after Taimur’s birth, a person came to meet him, who raised questions on his name. Kareena, who was admitted to the hospital, was devastated by this.

Kareena had said in an interview that we named our son Taimur according to its meaning, which means iron. What difference does it make what a ruler of that name did years ago? We will keep the name we like. After this, when Kareena gave birth to her second son in the year 2020, she named him Jahangir. There was controversy on this also.
